Fees and Requirements
Every fee on this page is in Canadian dollars, from the schedule the Consulate General in Calgary has published since 26 February 2025; the other posts charge the equivalent, and the exact figure is always confirmed with your own post. Payment is debit first: credit cards add a 2.4% surcharge, cash is accepted only if the machine fails, and processed payments are not refunded.

What every procedure asks for
Six requirements repeat across nearly every consular application, and none has an order: they all apply at once.
- A confirmed appointment at the post that covers your province
- The accomplished form, printed; typed for civil registry reports
- Valid ID: Philippine passport, Canadian passport, or both
- PSA documents on security paper, ordered online before the appointment
- Photos where required: 2x2, white background, within six months
- Payment the post accepts: debit at the counter, bank draft by mail
The three documents the consulate does not issue
The requirements above name them: PSA certificates come from the Philippine Statistics Authority online, the NBI clearance from the NBI in Manila, and since 2024 the apostille comes from Canadian competent authorities. Ordering them early is what keeps one appointment from becoming three.
